Stourhead plant centre

Spring is an exciting time in the garden and we have lots to inspire you in our Plant Centre

Whatever the season the garden shop has plenty for you to take home to enjoy in your own garden.

This summer

Summer is here and our Plant Centre is now brimming with a wide variety of plants, trees and herbs for your garden.

Current favourites include Lavender, Salvia and Lupins which will add colour and fragrance to your garden or plant pots this summer. Small bedding plants will help to build the front of a border adding colour and interest near to the ground whilst larger alliums and camasia’s provide structure and drama in your borders.

A variety of herbs, vegetables, summer fruits and salads are all in stock ready for planting. New varieties this year include cherry tomatoes, chilli’s and sweetcorn, or how about some edible nasturtiums? Why not start your own herb garden in a pot or add some to your borders? You do not need much space to grow these items and many grow wonderfully well in pots and containers.

It may be summer but a number of Acer trees are now in stock. These majestic tree’s come into their own during autumn but also look great throughout the year.

All of our plants are from local independent suppliers and grown in peat free compost.
