Useful information

  • allow at least 2 hours for your visit
  • adult group rate £5.90; child group rate (5-17 years) £3.00; National Trust members are free
  • free coach parking in mobility car park - coaches must reverse into car park
  • no catering available
  • hot and cold drinks, wrapped cakes, ice cream available in shop
  • groups are welcome to picnic anywhere in the grounds
  • guided tours by prior arrangement
  • free audio guides available to all visitors (subject to availability)
  • access to the entire castle is via a spiral staircase with 149 steps

Next door to the Castle is the beautiful Collegiate Holy Trinity Church, also built by Lord Ralph Cromwell.
 
Adjacent is Tattershall College, Cromwell's grammar school for church choristers.
