Eating at The Vyne in winter

Mince pies

When you need refreshment, come into the cosy Brewhouse tea-room where steaming hot drinks and hearty bowls of soup will warm the cockles. To get into the Christmas spirit, enjoy mulled wine, non-alcoholic cordial and mince pies. You can indulge safe in the knowledge that every sip and every nibble supports conservation efforts at The Vyne.

Alongside our winter warmers, we also have a selection of freshly made sandwiches, and sausage rolls as well as homemade cakes, biscuits and scones.

The venue

Our cosy 17th-century Brewhouse with its interior displays, original oak beams and stonework, creates a relaxing place for you to refuel after a walk in the woodlands or tour of the house.

For families

Children's lunch boxes are available. Highchairs are available on request. A microwave is located in the ground floor seating area for warming milk.

As the Brewhouse is rather snug, we kindly ask that you leave buggies and pushchairs outside. In good weather, we recommend you sit in our tea garden. This allows you to keep your buggy or pushchair with you.

Handy hints

For an extra cosy visit, see if you can get the table located by the log-burning stove in the ground floor seating area. On busier days, we will also open the tea-garden kiosk, offering mulled wine, non-alcoholic cordial and mince pies.
