The safety of our staff, volunteers, visitors and supporters is our top concern and in accordance with Government guidelines on social distancing, our houses, shops, cafes, gardens and parks are now closed, and from March 24 all of our car parks will close. However, many will be grateful for support when they reopen. If you are interested in volunteering, please keep checking for future opportunities.
" I wish I'd discovered this sooner. I love telling stories and here I get to do just that."
House volunteers enjoy being a friendly face, guiding visitors around The Vyne, ready to share historical tit-bits with those who’d like to know a little more. They provide a warm welcome and goodbye to our visitors, and offer them useful information about their visit.
Gardens and countryside volunteers
If you’re green-fingered or just like to work outdoors, then volunteering in our gardens or on the wider estate might be the perfect role for you. Working alongside our team of gardeners and rangers you could be helping out in the greenhouse, guiding visitors around the gardens or maintaining the estate grounds.
Visitor welcome and retail volunteers
Help us provide great customer service by joining our visitor welcome or retail teams. You could volunteer at our gift shop, our popular second-hand bookshop or provide a welcoming smile to visitors at our reception area.
