Shopping at The Vyne in summer
Summer is here; it’s time to browse cheeky dry gin and fruity cocktails. As you meander past the shelves, take in the sights and smells of the Grasslands range inspired by the beauty of the UK’s meadows.
The theme: Grasslands
Today, just 3% of the UK’s meadows remain that existed in the 1930’s. Inspired by species-rich grasslands, our designs explore softened interpretations of meadow flowers in the height of activity. Seed heads, grasses and scatterings of micro flora inspire textured prints whilst overhead views of meadow structures and contoured views of layered landscapes create a backdrop of colour.
Home and Kitchen
With neutral patterns interspersed with designs depicting meadowgrass, this summer you can lighten your living space with soft throws and cushions. For the kitchen, porcelain vases, mugs, a teapot, pitcher jug, fabric napkins and a milk jug all feature rural blooms poised ‘mid-bob’ in a gentle breeze.
A meadow is an indulgence of the senses and you can bring the heady essence of the summer countryside into your home with a collection of meadowgrass candles and a reed diffuser. Hard working hands will be nourished with rosemary leaf and orange scented soap, hand wash, hand scrub, hand and body lotion and hand cream.
Keeping the house fresh and clean this summer
Stock up on an organic National Trust range of citrus washing up liquid, minty multi-surface spray, herbal floor soap, and citrus creamy polish. You can freshen your clothes with National Trust laundry liquid and conditioner containing organic lavender. With their rustic appearance, you can equip your kitchen with vegetable, bottle and pot brushes.
What better way to kick-start your summer than by sipping a Pimms sat by a sizzling barbecue. Indulge with this fruity range of gins and cordials:
Push the boat out with unusual flavour combinations such as ‘pear and ginger’, ‘apple, lemon and fennel’ and ‘strawberry and sage’.
Sometimes things are best kept simple; you can pick up a bottle of dry gin and add as many or few flavours as you want. If you fancy something a little different, then a bottle of pink grapefruit gin provides a zesty alternative.
Saving the planet, ‘one sip at a time’
Sophisticated and environmentally friendly, reusable steel straws add a touch of class to any social gathering.
An assortment of plants grown in peat-free compost will be available in biodegradable coconut-hair pots thanks to The Hairy Pot Plant Company.
Inspired by the natural landscape, you’ll find cross-body bags and a swathe of scarves on sale.
Be prepared with a practical backpack, stainless steel mug, stainless steel 1L water bottle, thermal mug, fold-up cutlery set, multitool, torches and suncream.
A quick note:
