The Vyne roof project

The Vyne is undergoing a major roof conservation project to save our mansion from the rain. During your visit you will get to see conservation in action whilst the outside of the house is encased in scaffolding and the interior is re-displayed.

Tiles are fitted above oak gallery during The Vyne's roof project.

The Vyne roof project timeline

We're carrying out on a major roof project and you can see the work for yourself from our rooftop walkway. On the ground floor of the house you can immerse yourself in the visit of Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn in 1535. This timeline highlights key stages in the project as we rescue this former Tudor palace.
