Walking the dog

Family walking the dog in the countryside

Bring the dog for a day out at Trelissick. The countryside is dog friendly with acres to ramble across. The cafe has a sheltered outside courtyard where dogs are welcome too.

Access to the garden is limited to assistance dogs only which is why we cater for dogs and their owners in other areas. Whether your four legged friend prefers splashing in the river or tearing across the fields after a ball, Trelissick provides a stunning setting for all canine needs.

Trelissick estate has miles of woodland walks and open countryside for you and your dog to explore. From a half-hour stroll across the parkland to a trek down through the trees to Roundwood Quay, we've got plenty of space to play here.

Please be mindful of any livestock grazing the parkland and take appropriate action to keep your dog under control. If they are excitable around livestock please ensure they are kept on a lead near them. When no livestock is present they are free to frolick as they please.

After all that exertion why not pop into the cafe and enjoy a cuppa and a slice of homemade cake? Our outside courtyard area is dog friendly with water bowls and sheltered seating.
