Trelissick Gallery

Neil Davies exhibition at Trelissick Gallery

The gallery is housed in an award-winning barn conversion which hosts exhibitions featuring both established and rising artists. Here you'll find a mix of paintings, prints and sculptures alongside other beautiful local crafts. All exhibits displayed can be purchased with a proportion of the proceeds helping us look after this special place.

In partnership with Cornwall Crafts Association the National Trust gallery exhibits a stunning array of work for you to browse and purchase. To help you get more from your visit, welcoming staff are on hand to provide more detail about the artists and help you choose the perfect piece of art. The gallery is open seven days a week from 10.30am - 5.30pm.

The gallery is currently exhibiting the work of Neil Davies whose paintings take inspiration from the rugged Cornish landscape of Penwith. Lively and dynamic, his work reflects the raw power of the natural elements that shape this area. In his art he perfectly captures the emotions of experiencing Cornwall at its wildest. There is a wide variety of scenes to admire and purchase, from energetic windswept seascapes to vibrant shocks of spring blooms - each bursting with colour and character.

Below is a selection of these paintings. Clicking on each will take you to the Trelissick Gallery website where more information is provided about these pieces and more. The exhibition runs from 22 July - 10 September 2017.

Throughout the year the gallery runs exhibitions such as this one, changing regularly to reflect the seasons and embrace different styles and talents. Also on display in the gallery is an enriching variety of crafts and artwork from across the county. Partnered with the Cornwall Crafts Association, the gallery showcases the skill of many local craftspeople and artists. This unique partnership allows for wider promotion of craftwork and encourages a greater appreciation of it.
