Volunteer at Trelissick
Volunteers are the life and soul of the National Trust and here at Trelissick there are a variety of unique roles which enrich the property in this way.
Bring Trelissick to life by expressing your passion for plants as a garden tour guide. Fill the halls of the house with music playing the grand piano in the drawing room overlooking the Fal. Whether you want to lend such skills or learn new ones, volunteering is a fulfilling experience which helps keeps Trelissick special.
Be inspired to become part of a great team keeping Trelissick special for ever, for everyone. See below for an idea of the roles on offer. If any of them sound like you, please get in touch with us at email@example.com or call us on 01872 862090.
What role suits you best?
Garden Guides are bursting with helpful info - they know what’s in bloom this week and the treasures you’ll find around the next corner, as well as how to get to the tea-rooms.
Garden Tour Guide
If you’re as passionate about places as we are, you’ll know how it feels to want to share that. Our volunteer Garden Tour Guides reveal the story of the garden through key historical features and bring the grounds to life for visitors.
House Room Guide
Welcoming visitors into the grand space of Trelissick house, room guides provide a warm atmosphere and are full of exciting secrets. The history of the house is as inspiring as the view from its windows. If you are a natural people person and story teller this is the role for you.
Provide the perfect ambience in the house as a pianist. Whether you have a passion for music or simply want a grand space to practise, the melodies you play will heighten visitors’ immersion and enjoyment of the house.
Information Point and Membership Assistant
