Volunteer at Trelissick

Volunteers are the life and soul of the National Trust and here at Trelissick there are a variety of unique roles that enrich the property in this way.

Bring Trelissick to life by expressing your passion for plants as a garden tour guide. Fill the halls of the house with music playing the grand piano in the drawing room overlooking the Fal. Whether you want to lend such skills or learn new ones, volunteering is a fulfilling experience which helps keeps Trelissick special.

Be inspired to become part of a great team keeping Trelissick special for ever, for everyone. See below for an idea of the roles on offer. If any of them sound like you, please pay us a visit on Sunday 10 June or Saturday 16 June between 10.15am and 12 noon in the Barn. Here you can chat to the team about what role would suit you and your lifestyle.

Garden Guide

Garden Tour Guide

If you’re as passionate about places as we are, you’ll know how it feels to want to share that. Our volunteer Garden Tour Guides reveal the story of the garden through key historical features and bring the grounds to life for visitors.
