Retail therapy

Whether you want to treat yourself or a loved one, we've got everything from seasonal specialities and locally sourced produce to National Trust classics.

Cow Barn shop

Tyntesfield's shop is one of the largest in the National Trust, in the beautiful setting of the Home Farm area. Within the open atrium space, you'll find a range of handmade gifts, house and garden ware and food and drink items, as well as locally produced artisan products.

If you're a real fan of Tyntesfield, you can grab a memento inspired by the house and estate, as well as books on its history.

New autumn/winter range

Inspired by slow craft and the maker’s hand, our ‘Grain to Glory’ collection explores the delicately crafted woodwork in our collections that have been so carefully maintained and restored.

Books

The second-hand book shop is located in the upper courtyard at Home Farm and was recently picked as one of the National Trust's top five second hand bookshops in the South West.

The shop is looked after by a team of Tyntesfield volunteers who will be happy to help you find your next favourite story, or even a book that's particularly rare or special interest.

If you would like to donate any books to the bookshop, please send us an email.

Kitchen Garden

The Kitchen Garden is abundant throughout the year, and our harvest volunteers make several deliveries a week to the Cow Barn restaurant.

Be sure to stop by the produce table to pick up something to take home for dinner - your donations help us to continue growing as gardeners always have at Tyntesfield. We'd love to see your creations - tag us in your social media shots.
