Halloween trail: Horace the Hunky Punk’s Very Gothic Gathering
Celebrate Halloween at Tyntesfield with our fun, family-friendly trail around the estate.

Explore Tyntesfield with Horace the Hunky Punk, a stone figure who has escaped his perch on top of the chapel.
Follow Horace around the estate and complete activities along the way. Horace needs your help to greet the hosts, write a guest list, and make decorations for his famous Gothic Gathering.
Finish the trail to earn a prize and help Horace get back home before the party starts.

The basics
- Accessibility
The trail follows a step-free route through the grounds. Please note that the estate features uneven paths, steep slopes and gravel.
- Meeting point
The trail starts at Home Farm. The route continues down to the Kitchen Garden before bringing you back to Home Farm. The trail does not go up into the woodland area.
- Suitability for children
All children are encouraged to take part.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress appropriately for the weather. We recommend layers and sturdy shoes.
