Join our Tyntesfield Tree Walk and explore the estate’s bold Victorian planting, rare species, and the stories behind them.

Walking from Home Farm, through Paradise and the Formal Garden you will visit some remarkable trees, each with its own character and history - and we can even include a favourite if you have one.

The basics

Suitability

Yes – however, the walk will be 1hr to 1:20hr and is more suited to adults.

Meeting point

Visitors will meet at the end of the chicken run by the gate with the Volunteers. They will be signposted with an A-Frame notice board.

What to bring and wear

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sturdy footwear.

Accessibility

The walk explores areas off the main paths so there can be some uneven surfaces. Some routes can include steps. Suitable for wheelchairs and trampers? Yes walks can be adapted (Sues walk). Please ask visitors to specify of accessible routs are required.

Other

Booking not needed, however the event is first come first served on the day with tokens collected from the welcome building as with the winter Mini Tours. All dogs are welcome at this event on short leads.
