Curator Talk: Behind the Scenes of 'The Rossettis: Siblings and Spouses' Exhibition

Join the co-curators of The Rossettis: Siblings and Spouses for an exclusive talk and guided tour of Wightwick Manor's new exhibition.

  • Booking essential

Begin your morning with tea or coffee on arrival before an illustrated talk by Hannah Square, Senior Collections & House Officer, and Helen Bratt-Wyton, Property Curator. Discover the stories behind the exhibition, hear about exciting new acquisitions and rediscoveries, and explore the lives and creative legacy of Christina, Dante Gabriel, Maria and William Rossetti, alongside Elizabeth Siddal and Lucy Madox Brown.

Following the talk, Hannah and Helen will lead a guided tour through Wightwick Manor, offering unique insights into the exhibition's highlights, from newly attributed works and rarely displayed objects to the internationally significant Rossetti collection assembled through the pioneering efforts of Lady Mander.

This special event offers a rare opportunity to experience 'The Rossettis: Siblings and Spouses' with the people who curated it, providing behind-the-scenes insight into the research, discoveries and stories that shaped Wightwick's largest ever exhibition.

Tea and coffee are included on arrival. The talk lasts approximately 40 minutes, followed by a guided tour of the exhibition through the Manor lasting around one hour.
