Ranger in training
Get hands-on this summer by learning some of the essential skills needed to become a ranger, helping us to care for this special place and the wildlife who call Lyme home.

It’s a ranger’s job to look after the wildlife and landscape at Lyme, and make sure all the plants and animals are healthy. Become a ranger for the day and find out more about what it takes to care for 1,400 acres.
Tuesday 26 August: Bug Hotel Build & Mini-Beast Hunt Wednesday 27 August: Dry Stone Walling & Dead Hedging Thursday 28 August: Leaky Dam Building & Pond Dipping
All sessions will run from 9 - 11am.
£8 per child per session - each ticket includes one accompanying adult.
Suitable for ages 5 - 12.
Children cannot be left without a parent or guardian. Admission charges apply.
