Morning Rut Walk

Join the Rangers on a walk and talk to find out about our fascinating medieval herd of Red Deer followed by a delicious breakfast.

It's worth getting up early to take part in this engaging walk. You will learn all there is to know about our majestic deer and what happens to them at this special time of year. Finish up with a delicious breakfast in the Timber Yard cafe which is included with each ticket! The ticket also includes admission for the rest of the day.

Meeting point

Meet at the Kiosk in the main car park.

What to bring and wear

Wrap up warm and wear appropriate footwear. Bring binoculars if you have some.

Unfortunately the walk is not suitable for wheelchairs or buggies.
