Guided 'Pride & Prejudice' Park & Garden walk
Lyme is famous for having been the exterior of 'Pemberley' in the 1995 BBC adaptation of Austen's most popular novel, and to celebrate its 30th anniversary, join us for an access-all-areas guided walk around the filming locations.
- Booking essential
- Admission applies
Discover the iconic filming locations of the BBC’s 1995 ‘Pride & Prejudice’ adaptation around Lyme, including exclusive access to see ‘Darcy’s Pond,’ an area of Lyme’s vast parkland that’s usually closed to visitors at this time of year. You will also visit the Italian Garden, where Elizabeth Bennet can be seen in the series, with the opportunity to recreate one of the series’ most recognisable shots of Lyme’s exterior. Each guided walk will be led by one of our experienced and knowledgeable volunteers, and will be approx. 2 miles/3.2km long. The walk will encounter some rough and uneven terrain, and will last around 2 hours.
