Antony is now closed for the winter. We look forward to welcoming you back from 1 April 2026.

Planning your family visit

  • Baby-changing facilities are located in the toilets in the accessible car park
  • Buggy-freindly route around the garden
  • Den building area in the garden
  • There is ramped access via the accessible entrance at the side of the house
  • Small buggies are allowed in the house where there is capacity
  • Hip carriers are available for loan within the house
  • Children's lunchboxes available within the Colonnade Café

Easter Adventures at Antony

Discover the story of Wonderland at Antony this Easter.

Attend the Ascot party and venture into Wonderland around the garden. You can design your party outfit, take on the giant games, attend the tea party, play the red queens croquet and so much more.

The trail takes place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 1-16 April, including Friday 3, Sunday 5 and Monday 6 April.

Prices are normal admission plus £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.

*Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.

Treemendous Trees Trail

Get to know the magnficent collection of trees at Antony with our new tree spotters trail. 

Borrow a trail booklet from Visitor Welcome and learn more about the variety of trees that can be found at Antony. Can you find the Cork Oak, London Plane, Ginkgo and Black Mulberry trees?

 

Wet Weather Activites

Don't let the rain stop play, there are plenty of things to see and do with the family in the house.

Visit our story telling room, where you will find games, costumes and books inspired by the magic of Antony.

Family-friendly things to do in the house

Storytelling room 

Spark young imaginations with games, costumes and books inspired by the magic of Antony.

Dressing up 

Our youngest visitors can start their visit by getting dressed up in the storytelling room before they make their way around the rooms. Curtseying and bowing to our house volunteers is encouraged.

 

What to look out for

There are two children who call Antony their home – Jemima and Lucian Carew Pole.  As you walk around the rooms, what can you see that shows they live here? Are there any toys left around the rooms? Who can you see in the photographs?
