Laura Wakeham: Through My Eyes
In collaboration with the Bull Pen Gallery, discover Laura Wakeham's newest exhibition for an 'exploration between perception and creation.'
- Booking not needed
- Free event (admission applies)
Laura Wakeham's heightened sensitivities to the world around her are clear in her meticulous, intricate art style, which will be on full display in her exhibition at Cotehele.
Born and raised in Cornwall, Laura is constantly inspired by the Cornish landscape, and it continues to shape and inspire her practice. Working in oil paint, she explores traditional landscape painting in a contemporary context, focusing on perception, atmosphere and emotional connection to place.
In this new series Laura captures National Trust places in all their variety and beauty, and her paintings promise to examine the intricate relationship between nature and the self.
