Experience the garden at dusk and discover the nocturnal world of bats at Godolphin. As night falls, we’ll take a gentle walk through the grounds, using bat detectors to listen to their calls and learn more about these fascinating creatures.
Godolphin is home to a variety of bat species, including Greater Horseshoe, long-eared, and pipistrelle bats. They roost in some of the estate’s historic buildings and feed on insects attracted to our chemical-free gardens — a haven for wildlife.
