Guided wider estate walks - Autumn trees

Join us for a free guided walk while learning how to identify the trees on the estate though leaves, bark and seeds/nuts.

Join us for a free guided walk and learn how to identify the trees across the estate by their leaves, bark, and seeds. Discover the differences between an English Oak and a Sessile Oak, how to tell Elder from Ash, and what you can do with Elder throughout the seasons, plus much more.

The walks are from 1.5 - 3 miles and might be on stoned paths, or through fields. All with the support of our friendly, experienced walking volunteers

Dogs on leads welcome. This event is free.

The basics

Meeting point

On arrival head to the Welcome Centre and inform them you are here for a well-being walk. The meeting point is outside the tea-room, where our walking volunteers will be to greet you.

What to bring and wear

Sensible footwear, warm clothes and waterproofs. Dress for the weather.

Accessibility

Ground will be uneven and over hilly terrain.
