Join us for a public tree planting day this Christmas holiday and help us plant a variety of native broadleaf tree species at Home Farm. Drop in any time between 10am - 3pm and stay as long as you would like.
Whether you love getting your hands dirty, want to make a real difference, or simply enjoy spending time outdoors, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved. No experience is needed, and all ages are welcome (children must be accompanied by an adult).
Meet in the main visitor car park, where our rangers in red will be ready to meet you. If you are arriving after 10 am please follow the signs and way-markers to the planting site.
We advise wearing wellies and please bring gloves if you have them (we do have some to borrow if not) and make sure to dress for the weather and bring plenty of snacks, lunch and hot drinks to fuel you for the day.
