Hands on history: children's conservation workshops (ages 12-16)
Learn about the tricks and tools of conservation and get hands on with some of the techniques at this family-friendly workshops.

Led by a member of the Collections and House team, they'll be holding a two sessions every Friday throughout August.
These sessions are aimed for children between 12-16 years old.
Each session will share what the Conservation team do and why they do it, a demonstration on handling and cleaning and then a chance to handle different types of object and have a go at some conservation cleaning using the tips and tricks.
The workshops are free but spaces are limited to 5 children per workshop, so booking essential. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
