Hidden Treasure at Greenway: The silk jacket
As seen on the television show Hidden Treasures of the National Trust, a 100 year old silk jacket worn by Agatha Christie's mother is now on display to visitors for the first time.

Following expert conservation to preserve the fragile silk lining, the silk jacket worn by Agatha Christie's mother Clarissa and kept as a special heirloom by Agatha, is on display for the very first time.
Pictured in a photograph of Clarissa from the 1920s that hangs in the Winter Dining Room, it's a rare chance to get up close and discover the meanings behind the motifs of a very special item in the collection at Greenway.
The silk jacket will be on display upstairs in the Dressing Room of Agatha's bedroom, until 1 November 2026. If visiting Greenway be car, you will need to book a parking space in advance through the website.
