October Half Term

Get involved this October with a new family quest, listen to some gruesome tales and borrow a teddy bear to send down the zip-wire!

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event (admission applies)

Teddy Zip wire! Bring your own teddy or borrow a furry Corfe Castle veteran and take them for a tour around the site before attaching it to the zip wire by the castle keep. As your teddy zooms down the zip wire they can help us inspect the work the conservators have just finished!

Folklore and Fairies Family Quest! Explore the castle with our new family quest! Step back into a time where everyday life was filled with folklore, mystery, and superstition, where every home had its own secrets.

Gruesome Tales for the Morbidly Curious! Monsters both young and old are cordially invited to a trio of slightly sinister tales in the ruins of Corfe this Halloween. Our spooky storyteller invites you to discover the fates of horrible heroes, vile villains, pestilent peasants and the occasional talking horse. You'll be howling with delight! Tales begin at: 1:30pm and 3pm.

Don't forget to take a spook-tacular selfie with our pumpkin display right in front of the castle!

This is a free event, but standard admission applies, free for National Trust members.
