The Lyme Regis Circular Loops 2026
Meet our National Trust Walk Leader outside the Lyme Regis shop on the 2nd Thursday in the month for a free guided walk around Lyme Regis. We will alternate between a short walk one month (1 hour) and a longer walk (2.5 hours) the next month.

We are offering free, guided walks around the pretty town of Lyme Regis which will meet at 10.15am and depart promptly at 10.30am from outside the National Trust shop in Lyme Regis on the 2nd Thursday in the month (April - September).
The walks are designed to have a focus on exercise, wellness, being outdoors and social connection, it is part of a programme of walks which depart Lyme Regis shop and people are invited to take part in all walks to create a monthly routine.
The walks will alternate each month between a short 1 hour loop in April, June and August and a longer 2.5 hour walk in May, July and September, so be sure to check the details to make sure you are on the correct walk.
People can do as many of the walks as they like free of charge, all we ask is that you book onto the walk at the Lyme Regis shop at least 24 hours before hand. Please also arrive for the walk at 10.15am.
9 April - 1 hour, 4km
14 May - 2.5 hours
11 June - 1 hour, 4km
9 July - 2.5 hour
13 August - 1 hour, 4km
10 September - 2.5 hour

The basics
- Booking details
Call in at the Lyme Regis shop and book your place with the shop staff. Please do this at least 24 hours ahead of the walk date.

Children are welcome but be sure they can manage the distance
- Meeting point
Meet outside the National Trust, Lyme Regis shop at 10.15am on the morning of the walk. The walk will depart promptly at 10.30. Marine Parade, Lyme Regis, DT7 3JQ
- What to bring and wear
Wear sturdy shoes and weather appropriate clothing. The ground is uneven in places and could get muddy if there has been rain on the days before. Please bring your own water.
- Accessibility
Lyme Regis is hilly so please be prepared for some unavoidable uphill climbs but remember they do reward with spectacular views and downhill sections ! The walks are designed to have a focus on exercise, wellness, being outdoors and social connection, people are invited to take part in multiple walks to create a monthly routine.
- Other
The walks are free of charge but please sign up in the National Trust, Lyme Regis shop beforehand, you can do this in person in the shop or by calling: 01297 445828. Please note, whilst on the walk, we will aim to answer any history, ecology or nature based questions as best we can but this group of walks has a main focus on exercise and well being.

Meet our National Trust Walk Leader outside the National Trust, Lyme Regis shop and walk to Charmouth, before getting the bus back. Buses run regularly allowing you time to enjoy Charmouth or have a well earned refreshment in one of the cafes.
