Join local willow artist Yanina Stockings for a relaxing and creative willow-weaving workshop. In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to craft your own beautiful small willow basket, perfect for displaying fresh fruit, serving bread rolls, or using as a charming harvest basket for berries, flowers, and other little treasures.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and all skill levels. Date: Saturday 6 September Time: 10:30am – 2:30pm Price: £45 per person (includes all materials)
The workshop will take place under our stretch tent, which is an inspiring, open space to learn and create. Spaces are limited, so early booking is recommended.
Please note: This ticket does not include admission to Kingston Lacy. You’ll need to pay for entry or scan your National Trust membership card at Visitor Reception. For details, see 'Visitor Information – Prices'.
Complementary tea and coffee will be provided. Feel free to bring a packed lunch, or treat yourself to something delicious from our café.

Please meet Nina inside the stretch tent, at the start of the Woodland Walk. Please see a member of the Visitor Reception team for details on the day.
- What to bring and wear
You will be under the stretch tent, which is an open space and can get draughty at times. Please bring plenty of layers and dress appropriately for the time of year.
- Accessibility
This workshop is on grass with bench seating. Willow weaving requires a moderate amount of hand strength and dexterity, as participants will be working with natural materials that can be firm and require some gripping and manipulation.
