Introduction to Reduction Linocut

Design a unique print, a perfect gift for yourself or someone special. Robin Mackenzie will lead this workshop, perfect for beginners looking to learn a new technique or for those wishing to expand their knowledge of linocut printing.

You will be taught the principles of designing for print, how to separate your design into two colours, methods for cutting lino, and how to print a two colour reduction print.

Hot drinks and biscuits will be provided throughout the day. Please bring along your own lunch to enjoy, or you can pop to our café for a range of hot and cold lunch options.

Robin Mackenzie is an elected member of The Society of Wood Engravers and has exhibited his work around the UK and internationally. While the workshop area is heated, we recommend wearing warm layers to this event.
