Sand Pit Play

Join us in the big sand bowl in the dunes at Knoll Beach for sports and games.

Have a break from the beach and bring the kids to the sand bowl, where we will have badminton, giant snakes and ladders, twister and sack races, amongst others.

We will also have the volley balls available to use over the small badminton nets, but we will not have the large volley ball net this year.

Parents / guardians / carers are responsible for supervising their children throughout.

The basics

Accessibility

The sand bowl is in the dunes, along sandy paths and over an incline, approximately 10 minutes walk from the car park.

Meeting point

Follow the signs from the back of either the Discovery centre car park or accessible car park at Knoll to reach the big sand bowl in the dunes.

Suitability for children

Children welcome, under 18's must be accompanied by an adult

What to bring and wear

Sun cream and appropriate clothing for the weather.

Other

ANPR parking at Knoll Beach. Please remember your car registration when heading to the parking machines. NT members and blue badge holders park for free. You can also download the Just Park app in advance, enter location code 998930 and you can add your NT membership card to the app.
