Currently the club has over 3,100 members spread across 56 countries. The Series 1 Land Rover is more than just a vehicle; it is a testament to ingenuity, perseverance, and the spirit of adventure. From its humble beginnings as a solution to post-war challenges to its status as a global icon, the Series 1 Land Rover has left an indelible mark on the automotive world. Its legacy continues to inspire and captivate, reminding us of the remarkable journey of a vehicle that changed the course of history. Launched in 1948 by the Rover Company in the United Kingdom, it was conceived as a solution to the shortages and challenges of the post-World War II era. This remarkable vehicle not only revolutionized the automotive industry but also established a legacy that continues to thrive to this day. The Series 1 Land Rover laid the foundation for subsequent models, including the Series II, Series III, and the iconic Defender. Each iteration built upon the strengths of the original design while incorporating new technologies and improvements.
