Hidcote welcomes groups of visitors both large and small. Whether you’re part of a club, a society or a registered travel company, we’d be delighted to accommodate you. On this page, you’ll find all the information you need, from how to make a booking, to any benefits you may be entitled to when visiting Hidcote as a group.

Bringing a group to Hidcote

Hidcote is a popular destination, so it’s essential that groups of any size book with us in advance to secure their visit and avoid disappointment. Our car park is not large and we need to ensure we have reserved a parking space for you.

If you want to book a group visit to Hidcote, or you need more information, please download our 2023 Group Booking document, email hidcotegroupbookings@nationaltrust.org.uk or call us on 01386 438333.

If someone in your party will require a mobility scooter during your visit, please request this as part of your booking.

Benefits for groups

If you visit Hidcote as a group, you’ll be entitled to some or all of the following benefits:

• Complimentary admission for a group leader who wants to pay a familiarisation visit (please notify us of your intended visit so we can meet you for a chat)
• Complimentary admission for one group leader on the day of your visit
• Discounted admission for groups of 15 people or more (tickets must be paid for as one payment to qualify)
• Allocated arrival time

Coaches carrying 15 or more passengers can park free for up to three hours, after which a fee will be charged. Groups of 14 people or fewer are kindly asked to arrive in a minibus; if you arrive by coach, you will be charged a car parking fee (note that we can only take coach group bookings on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, except on UK bank holidays).

Free familiarisation visits for group leaders

If you're planning a group visit you can request our free Travel Trade Pass and you and a friend or colleague will gain free entry to over 300 of our places throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland for 12 months. There’s nothing quite like seeing or experiencing somewhere for yourself to help you plan a successful visit. To receive your pass, call 0344 800 2329 or email us at NTTravelTrade@capita.co.uk.

Who is eligible for free entry?

Registered tourist board guides (on production of a valid badge), coach drivers and tour leaders escorting groups of 15 or more. National Trust members also receive free entry, so it is at your discretion whether to refund the entrance fee to members if you have included it in your package – this is not refunded by the National Trust.

Members must bring their current membership cards with them to avoid paying the full group rate. If any of your group would like to join the National Trust please direct them to our Membership page or call 0344 800 1895.

Group admission prices

Normal admission charges apply to groups comprising 14 people or fewer, or when group members pay individually.

If there are 15 or more people in your party (including National Trust members but excluding the tour leader and coach driver), there will be a reduced admission charge*. To find out how much you can save, and for full terms and conditions, contact us using the details below.

*We reserve the right to refuse entry to any organised group that has not made a booking. Groups of 15 or more people that are admitted at our discretion will not be entitled to the group rate.
