Birds of Woodchester

Grab your binoculars! It's time to explore Woodchester Park to see how many of the beautiful birds that live here you can spot.

  • Booking not needed
  • Free event

Calling all budding birdwatchers! Grab your binoculars (or just your eagle eyes!) and head out on a mini-adventure round Tinkley Gate and Woodchester Park.

Hidden among the trees and winding paths of Woodchester Park are vibrant bird paintings of some of the different birds that live here – and it’s your job to find them!

A gentle outdoor adventure for families: Part treasure hunt, part nature walk, and entirely free!

Pick up a trail sheet from the bookshop and practice your map-reading to follow the simple route and find the birds. Match the landmarks, check the directions, and have fun exploring the outdoors!

Wander at your own pace and see how many of the birds of Woodchester you can discover.
