On 20 September, explore this intimate chapel and its world-famous paintings for free as part of Heritage Open Day. You’ll find a small garden and orchard too, with seating to relax on with a cup of tea or coffee.

On 20 September, don't miss First World War poetry readings and 'deep dive' talks about Sir Stanley Spencer's iconic paintings. Visit a pop-up vintage tea-room and create your own sketch in the garden arts hub. At 1.30pm you can paint a vintage tea cup in a guided art session run by a friendly volunteer.
