Outdoor Theatre: Romeo and Juliet by Immersion Theatre

Join us at Emmetts Garden for this years production from Immersion Theatre. Romeo and Juliet - a powerful story of forbidden love and bitter rivalry is brought to life in a visual spectacle infused with comedy, heart-break, and danger.

Moving, funny, and tragic in equal measure, this beautiful production will see Immersion Theatre continue to build on their reputation for producing Shakespeare for all, be it the seasoned theatre-goer or budding literary enthusiast. This is Shakespeare as it’s meant to be: interactive, fun, and highly accessible!

Doors open at 6:00pm for a 6:30pm start. Performance lasts approximately 110 minutes including interval.

This is an open-air performance so please bring chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy whilst watching. Performances will continue in wet weather so please come prepared! Please note, dogs are not permitted at this performance.

This performance takes place on the Meadow. Please enter via the gate to the left of the Visitor Centre.

What to bring and wear

This performance will take place outdoors. Please dress for potential wet or cold weather. Please bring picnic blankets and chairs. Chairs will not be provided.

Accessibility

Steep paths and steps in places. Woodland path is uneven and non-tarmacked. Accessible toilets.
