British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreted Emmetts Garden History Tour

Discover the history and highlights of Emmetts Garden. A National Trust guide will be leading the group with a British Sign Language (BSL)/English Interpreter.

A member of the Emmetts Garden team and a BSL interpreter will show you selected areas of the beautiful Edwardian garden sharing information about its history and some of the highlights of the garden.

There is also a BSL Deaf-led tour taking place at nearby Chartwell on the same day at 11am. It is possible to join both tours. You will need to pre-book for the Chartwell BSL Deaf-led tour on the Chartwell website.

The tour will last approximately 1 hour.

The tour will take place outside so please dress appropriately for the weather.

Accessibility

The BSL/English Interpreter will be there to interpret the guide's tour from English to BSL and your questions from BSL to English. Hard paths in main garden. Steep incline from the Visitor Centre to Discovery Cabin - buggy may be available for this section of the garden, please ask. Accessible toilets.
