What’s it like volunteering here?

We have a great team of volunteers. Some have been with us for a while and others have just started. They are a friendly and welcoming bunch of people who share common interests and a passion for the work we do.

Over recent years the garden has been restored and transformed, opening up views, restoring water features and cutting back many of the historic trees and shrubs to help them live for many years to come. The volunteer team has been vitally important to this garden restoration project.

‘One of the things I really enjoy about working at Emmetts is the friendly atmosphere. The garden team provide expert advice and direction and adapt tasks to what we feel confident we are able to do.’
