Free tours of Acorn Bank's orchard
If you're interested in learning more about apples and growing them, join this free tour on your visit to Acorn Bank.

Enjoy a relaxing walk through the orchard with one of our knowledgeable volunteers. You'll hear about the history of the orchard, where 165 varieties are grown, be introduced to a few that are fruiting at the time of your visit and hear about their care. If you're coming specifically for the tour, please check the website or phone the property in case of last-minute cancellations.

- Meeting point
Meet at the Dovecote near the café. One of our volunteers will meet you there.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear clothing suitable for the weather that day as you'll be walking around outside.

There are 10 places per tour and it will be bookable on a first come, first served basis. There's one tour at 12 noon then one at 2pm. Book your place on the day at the Shepherd's Hut welcome and entry point.
