Acorn Bank Watermill Celebrations
The Acorn Bank Watermill Trust are celebrating their progress on the restoration of the second waterwheel.

At this special event, you can see the working watermill in action including the second waterwheel, which, after a lapse of nearly 100 years, is being brought to life. You'll also hear stories of the people who lived and worked on the estate.
Wholemeal flour fresh from the mill will be on sale and samples of baked produce for you try will show you what you can make.
Plus have a go at making flour with a hand quern, as our ancestors did, or show your artistic talents on the Art Table.

This is an event run by the Acorn Bank Watermill Trust, (Charity No: 1193320), not the National Trust. However, the rest of the site will be open as normal including the second-hand bookshop, gardens and café.
