Christmas at Morden Hall Park 

Whatever your tradition, the Christmas holiday is the perfect time of year to come together with friends and family, and Morden Hall Park is the perfect location. Simple pleasures such as wintery strolls through the park and cosy drinks in the café make it a special time of year. Our Garden Centre is also comes into it own as the perfect place to browse for gifts and buy a Christmas tree.

Wreath making at Rainham Hall 

Saturday 9 December: Make a festive decoration for your front door in this Christmas wreath workshop, florist Sam Pelly. All materials will be provided, along with a free hot drink at the beginning of the session. 11am-1pm or 2pm-4pm, £35, booking essential.

Rainham Reindeer Festive trail 

14-23 December: Escape outdoors with this reindeer inspired trail around the community garden at Rainham Hall. Try festive challenges at each of the 9 stops along the way and earn yourself a special bag of reindeer food ready for the big day. Perfect for children aged 3 and above.

Wrap up warm and step outside for a festive walk with the whole family. Just the thing to blow away the cobwebs during the rush of Christmas. Choose from short level routes, or longer more adventurous walks.

Knole at Christmas 

Inspired by Raymond Briggs' timeless festive tale, The Snowman™, this winter at Knole you can discover 12 giant The Snowman™ sculptures in the parkland and courtyards, each designed by a contemporary artist. Knole’s historic Great Hall and selected showrooms will be sumptuously decorated for Christmas too, and the Gatehouse Tower will have a 1930s inspired festive atmosphere. Walking with The Snowman™ at Knole is presented by the National Trust and Wild in Art in collaboration with Penguin Ventures (part of Penguin Random House UK).
