Join Jason the ranger to find and identify the coast's moth population, helping to build a picture of nature on the Durham Coast.
Drop by and stay for the whole evening, or just a little while - whatever suits you.
This event is free. Donations are very welcome and will go directly towards caring for wildlife.
Ranger Jason is delivering this series of walks and surveys as part of the Coastal Grasslands Reconnected Project. The Coastal Grasslands Reconnected Project aims to create and restore the wildflower rich magnesian limestone grasslands along the Durham Coastline. The project is a partnership between Durham County Council, the National Trust, and Durham Wildlife Trust. Coastal Grasslands Reconnected is funded by the Government’s Species Survival Fund.
