Easter egg hunt at Gibside 2026
This spring, treat the whole family to a world of adventure at Gibside on an Easter trail.

Make your way along the trail and find 10 activities for the whole family. Hop along the Avenue and through the Walled Garden, stopping at each trail activity station.
The trail takes place between Saturday 28 March to Tuesday 7 April, from 10am to 3pm, so come along and explore Gibside. Prices are £3.50 per trail which includes an Easter trail sheet, bunny ears and dairy or vegan and Free From* chocolate egg.
Once Easter is over, come back to Gibside the following week and join the Spring-time Activity Trail.
*Suitable for people with milk, egg, gluten, peanut and tree nut allergies.

Head to Visitor Reception on arrival then collect your trail sheet at the Easter station.

The trail is outdoors, dress appropriately for the weather.

The trail follows uneven pathways and grassed areas.

This event is aimed at families, but everyone is welcome. Trails will be sold between 10am and 3pm. Gibside closes at 5pm. The trail will take around 2 hours to complete.
