Join Ranger Jason to find and identify the local moth population, helping to build a picture of nature at Gibside.
Drop by and stay for the whole evening, or just a little while - whatever suits you.
This event is free, no need to book. Donations are very welcome and will go directly towards caring for Gibside and its wildlife.
Please note this event may have to be cancelled in the event of adverse weather. Please keep an eye on our website and social media on the day.

The basics
- Suitability
Suitable for ages 8+. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
- Meeting point
Meet Ranger Jason in the main Gibside car park.
- What to bring and wear
Wrap up warm. Sturdy footwear advised.
- Accessibility
Access to Gibside is via a steep incline. This event will also involve a short walk on uneven ground. If you have any questions about access, please email gibside@nationaltrust.org.uk.
