This classic river walk along the River Witham on Belton Estate, with its intimate scenery, woods, fields, wildlife and the river itself, provides the perfect excuse to leave the car and enjoy the wonderful backdrop of Belton. As we walk, we will chat about Ratty from Wind in the Willows and the predators that are making his life difficult, bats that feed off the river, the conservation work we have undertaken, and of course the deer.

The distance of this walk will be 3.5K.

This walk is part of special programme of walks taking place across our Belton Community Festival weekend when entry to the Estate is free for everyone.
