Bobbin Lace Making Workshop

Have you ever wanted to learn to make bobbin lace?

Come take part in a full day workshop with likeminded craft enthusiasts. Taking place in the Old School Village Hall, Belton Village. This is a mindful activity, using colourful thread and a modern interpretation of this traditional craft. During the day you will be guided through the process of lace making, allowing you to take home a small piece of your own hand made lace. All materials and equipment are provided.

There will be an hour’s break for lunch. Tea and coffee are provided. Please bring your own lunch. There is a fridge, microwave and kettle for your use. Access to the Stables Café in the Belton Estate grounds is permitted, however it is a 5 to 10 minute walk from the venue.

Please make sure to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the session, to allow time to walk from the Belton Estate carpark to the Old School House Village Hall.

What to bring and wear

Tea and coffee provided, but please bring along your own lunch. This workshop takes place entirely indoors.

Accessibility

The Old School is fully accessible. There is street parking directly outside of The Old School, however spaces are not guaranteed. Accessible parking spaces are available in the main Belton Estate carpark. There is a shuttle service which can take you to the front gate roughly 150m from the venue.
