Statues of The Chapel of Saint Mary the Virgin
Join one of the collection team to learn more about the decorative statues covering the walls of the magnificent Chapel at Clumber Park.

Take a short walk with us around the exterior of the Chapel to see some of the saints, gargoyles and grotesques that adorn the outer walls. Then follow us inside to learn about each of the saints in their many depictions including those in the Nave and Lady Chapel not usually open to the general public.

Children are welcome with an accompanying adult.
- Meeting point
Meet outside the west doorway at the Chapel of Saint Mary the Virgin.
- What to bring and wear
Please dress according to the weather on the day and note the Chapel can be cold at times even on a nice day.
- Accessibility
The exterior is surrounded by uneven grass and the Chapel is accessed via a double ramp doorway with some steps in the Lady Chapel and Nave.
