Join eco florist, Liz Baxter, from Side farm flowers, to learn about the Victorian language of flowers, floriography, whilst creating an arrangement of seasonal flowers to make a beautiful bouquet.

  • Booking essential

Spend a relaxed couple of hours with eco florist, Liz, from Side Farm Flowers. You will create a hand-tied bouquet using seasonal flowers and plastic free, compostable wrapping, for £45 per person.

Known to symbolise friendship, affection, and lasting connection, zinnias will be at the heart of this workshop. We’ll also dabble with a little floriography, the Victorian language of flowers, whilst designing loose, natural bouquets, to gift to someone special or take home for yourself. Why not bring your best friend along and make a bouquet for each other? Expect colourful, homegrown, earth friendly flowers, pastels and bright options, and a welcoming atmosphere. Included: seasonal zinnias (cactus and dahlia types) and complementary blooms, introduction to floral meanings & floriography. All tools and wrapping materials provided. Refreshments of a hot drink and cake or bake from our cafe will also be available. No experience is required, a demonstration and full support will be available throughout, should you need it. The workshop will take place in the Head Gardener's Cottage at Clumber Park.
