Enjoy multiple aspects of Stowe as part of Heritage Open Week this September.

Enjoy free entry to Stowe Gardens during Heritage Open Week between 11-20 September.

On Saturday 19 September and Sunday 20 September, in addition to exploring Stowe's 250 acres of landscape gardens for free, you'll be able to see inside the Gothic Temple – usually an exclusive holiday cottage for the Landmark Trust - explore Stowe’s Parish Church, peek inside the Temple of Concord and Victory and enjoy special access to Dido’s cave.

Pre-booking is advised for the Gothic Temple via their website.

Main access will be through Stowe Gardens.

What to bring and wear

Dress for the weather: sun hats or woolly hats, coats or sunglasses, wellies or sandals.

Accessibility

There is free accessible car parking available at Stowe Gardens. There are accessible toilets at New Inn, the entrance to the gardens and Stowe House. There are no accessible toilets in the Gothic Temple. Stowe Gardens, Dido's Cave and the church are largely accessible, but the Gothic Temple and Temple of Concord & Victory do require climbing stairs. Dogs on leads allowed at Stowe Gardens only.
