Slow down and welcome the return of spring in this calm, creative session to celebrate the Festival of Blossom with Wild Minds.

Join Wild Minds for a gentle spring wellbeing session at Calke Abbey.
Take a gentle walk among the blossom, pausing to notice colour, movement and scent, before settling into quiet reflection inspired by the season. Simple poetry and journaling prompts are offered (all optional), alongside a sensory exploration of herbs traditionally linked with spring and renewal.
This session is unhurried, inclusive, and designed for anyone who would like a peaceful, creative way to connect with nature and mark the beginning of the blossom season.
You don’t need any writing experience – just curiosity and a willingness to slow down.
Please note that a minimum of 6 people are required for this session to go ahead.

- What to bring and wear
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a hat & sunscreen if necessary. All participants should bring a drink. All materials/resources will be provided.
- Accessibility
The session involves a short, slow walk that encounters uneven ground and slopes, but no steps or stiles. Adaptations will be made to accommodate all participants. Please contact Wild Minds for further information. Sensory bags are available to collect from the ticket office.
