This architectural tour will walk you through the fascinating architectural elements at Hardwick. From the structures in the Stableyard, to exploring the differences in the homely Old Hall and the grand splendour of Hardwick Hall, find out everything you need to know about the architecture of the buildings on the Estate.
Delve into the history of Robert Smythson, a master builder who created Prodigy Houses and the beginning of English Renaissance architecture. Get up close to the stone work to see the quality of the stone and how many Masons' marks you can find along the west face.
Please note that the House itself will be closed 10 – 16 November whilst the team set up for Hardwick Wintertide.
