The Children’s Country House is a fun place to explore history. This Home-Ed Day, explore and learn in the Hall, and bring history to life with hands-on activities. Outdoor adventures await in the Gardens, from peaceful strolls to playful actvities. Booking is required, and you can also book learning sessions to take part in on the day.

Head over to Visitor Services upon arrival.
- Accessibility
There is an accessible transfer bus to transport visitors from the car park to Visitor Services. Wheelchairs can be hired from Visitor Services and there is lift access in the Museum and Cafe.
- Other
Home-Educator Days at the Children's Country House have been designed to give you time to explore the site at your own pace without the hustle and bustle of a weekend or school holiday. The Hall and Grounds will be open, the Museum will be closed. The Café will be open as usual.
