Attingham Walking Group: Spring Walks
Join our Walk Leaders for a seasonal walk around the Attingham Estate. This activity is free but please book a space so we know how many walkers to expect. Check times and dates and book your space.

Coming to Attingham for the first time or looking for a new way to explore the estate, try joining one of our friendly volunteer-led walking groups. These groups are designed to accommodate all ages in a friendly and relaxed environment with the aim of helping people to explore Attingham’s outdoors! Whether you’re doing the walk for fitness, wellbeing or simply to get outdoors, all are welcome to come along.
Monday 2 and Saturday 7 February: Mile Walk Meander (1 Mile) approx. 1 hour. Wednesday 11 February: Deer Park Walk (3 miles) approx. 2 hours. Friday 27 February: World War II Walk (3.5 miles), approx 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Saturday 7 March: Deer Park Walk (3 miles) approx. 2 hours. Monday 9 March: Mile Walk Meader (1 Mile) approx. 1 hour. Wednesday 18 March: Deer Park Walk (3 miles) approx. 2 hours. Friday 27 March: World War II Walk (3.5 miles), approx 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Monday 13 April: Mile Walk Meander (1 Mile) approx. 1 hour. Saturday 18 April: World War II Walk (3.5 miles), approx 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Wednesday 22 April: Deer Park Walk (3 miles) approx. 2 hours.

- Meeting point
Please arrive 5-10 minutes before the walk start time at Visitor Reception and let them know you are here for the Walking Group. You will meet your Walk Leaders in the Stables Courtyard.
- What to bring and wear
Please wear clothing suitable for the weather on the day and sturdy footwear. Please bring a water bottle and any snacks/food you may need for the walk, there will be rest breaks during the walks.
- Accessibility
Walks take place on a variety of surfaces throughout the Park and include tarmac, hoggin and grass paths. During or following wet weather, ground conditions in the Deer Park are not suitable for buggies, pushchairs. Please contact us in advance with accessibility queries or for suitabilty of the route for PMVs or wheelchairs on attingham@nationaltrust.org.uk
- Other
Parents or carers with young children (under 3) are welcome to bring them in a baby carrier or sling. To create a peaceful atmosphere, free from distractions, the Walking Group is not suitable for dog walkers. Walking distance and duration varies please check each date for details. The walk is relaxed and is suitable for a range of abilities. Entrance to Attingham is free for pre-booked ticket holders for the Walking Group. This is a free activivity but places must be booked in advance.
